The perfect setting. West Stoke House makes the perfect setting for a wedding with the benefit of being licensed to hold civil marriage services. The Ballroom and even larger lawns are made for that special party or celebration (of any kind) all year round.

West Stoke can be all yours for the day. Throughout your Wedding Day, the house and its grounds can be exclusively yours. You will have use of the Blue Dining Room, the Entrance Hall, the Grand Ballroom and the gardens from midday to midnight.

The ceremony. You can hold your wedding ceremony here at West Stoke House for a fee £550.00.
Wedding ceremonies usually start sometime between midday and 3pm. For non-exclusive wedding events, ceremonies can start from 11.30am. The ceremony can take place in the Blue Room up to 70 people and up to 130 people in the Grand Ballroom. You will need to contact the Registrar in Chichester to set a date and time with them on: 01243 782307.

The wedding breakfast. West Stoke House has a varied selection of wedding menus, all created by our Michelin Star Chef Darren Brown, formerly of the Lanesborough Hotel and Monsieur Max Restaurant, London.
You will enjoy fine dining and wine from a varied list, in either the Blue Dining Room or the Grand Ballroom depending on numbers. A 3-course lunch will usually last about two hours, including time for speeches, followed by the cutting of the cake.
If you do have any special catering needs, such as vegetarians or gluten free meals, please do let us know as early as possible. Generally prices for a 3-course lunch/dinner are around £45.00 per head. For children under the age of 10, ½ portions are available at a cost of £22.50 per head.

Evening reception. West Stoke House can accommodate up 130 guests for your evening party.
A paying bar or a bar on account will be made available to your guests, offering a selection of wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks. West Stoke House has a full premises license allowing you to choose to hire a live band or disco for a livelier evening of dancing.
Tasty platters of cheeses, meats and rustic breads can be served for your evening guests. A selection of handmade English and French cheeses, including rustic bread is £9.50 per person or a selection of handmade English and French cheeses and continental meats is £14.50 per person. We cater for a minimum of 75% of the total guests for the evening reception.
In consideration of our neighbours it is a requirement that any music must finish by 11.30pm and carriages must be arranged to collect all non-residents by midnight.

Accommodation. Eight big bedrooms (all double) with swish contemporary bathrooms have views over the rolling Sussex countryside, offering peace and tranquillity to you and your guests.
It is a requirement to hire the eight double rooms on your wedding day, Sunday – Friday, the cost is £1455.00 and Saturday at a cost of £1675.00, including full English breakfast.
On the day of your wedding we will have 2 rooms available by midday and for the other 6 rooms, check-in from 3.00pm, Check-out by 10.30am unless by prior arrangement.

Extras. Ceremony chairs can be hired at £3.00 per chair.
A cake table and cake knife can be supplied upon request. We would recommend that you contact your cake supplier to arrange an appropriate cake stand.

Booking procedures. To make a booking please contact our Events Team at West Stoke House to make an appointment to discuss your requirements.

Terms and conditions. Following an enquiry, a provisional booking for your date will be held for 10 days.
On approval of quotation, a non-refundable 50% deposit of the West Stoke House exclusivity fee is required to confirm a booking.
The remainder of the West Stoke House fee is payable 6 months before the wedding date.
Final numbers for the wedding breakfast must be confirmed 21 days before the event, when the final balance will be due.
Prices are subject to change in line with standard annual price increases.
A 2% charge will be made on any deposits or final balance’s paid by credit card.
A minimum of 50 adult guests is chargeable for weddings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
All couples are strongly recommended to organise wedding insurance to cover their event.
Any damage caused to the hotel premises will be charged to the company or person who makes the booking.
West Stoke House Limited reserves the right to cancel any booked function as a result of unforeseen circumstances or events outside our control. If we have to do this, we will give you as much notice as reasonably possible, and will refund your deposit. You agree to accept that deposit in full settlement of all claims, costs, losses or damages that you may otherwise have against us arising from the cancellation, and we will have no further liability to you.

Cancellation policy. From booking confirmation to 180 days prior – loss of deposit.
From 180 days to 90 days prior – loss of exclusivity fee.
From 90 days to 40 days prior – 25% of all costs quoted.
From 40 days to 28 days prior – 50 % of all costs quoted.
From 28 days to event date – 100% of all costs quoted.
